Dylan Wrona has caught Love Island USA fans by surprise ever since he came into the Villa as a Casa Amor bombshell earlier this season. From his emotional conversations with Kenzie Annis in their on-again, off-again connection to accidentally making direct eye contact with one of the set’s many hidden cameras, viewers have been debating Dylan’s intentions and analyzing some of his biggest moments on the show.

Now, they’ve discovered that Dylan was already stepping into the spotlight long before he entered the Villa. On Wednesday, July 8, singer-songwriter Seanna Pereira shared that Dylan actually starred in a music video for her song, “Arsonist,” two months before he joined the Love Island USA season 8 cast.

Before fans caught wind of his pre-TV project, an eagle-eyed viewer clocked Dylan seemingly identifying hidden cameras before he cried during a heart-to-heart with Zach Georgio. While the person who posted the viral clip called him out for being “performative,” others had already accused him of being on the show for clout.

“YALL NEED TO WAKE UP AND REALIZE DYLAN IS A FUCKING ACTOR ISTGG,” one person wrote, while another added, “dylan bringing up family [week] and still trying to farm sympathy.. y’all cannot tell me that this man is here for the right reasons.”

ICYMI, Dylan has some other credits under his belt thanks to a bunch of modeling gigs. He’s appeared in campaigns for brands like Jockey and Dick’s Sporting Goods, and he even modeled for Moët and Chandon at the Golden Globes earlier this year.

His past projects don’t necessarily reveal his actual intentions, but we’ll have to wait until the Love Island USA season 8 reunion to find out what he has to say about all this.
