It’s been weeks and I officially can no longer survive without my emotional support show Love Island USA. But thankfully the reunion episode is dropping this month and is filming today (August 10) at Universal Studios in front of a live studio audience for the first time ever.

However, looks like production actually started yesterday because the core four couples (aka Trinity & Bryce, Kayda & Zach, Aniya & Carl, and Melanie & Sincere) were all spotted reuniting. And yes, cameras were there—not to mention a whole bunch of fans.

Here they are getting what sound like instructions from a producer on how to film the above scene:

It looks like this footage was taken right in the Universal Studios area, so presumably Love Island producers were just getting some B-roll footage of the cast hanging out before officially sitting down for the reunion with hosts Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen.

And judging from everyone arriving in their couples, it looks like they’re all still together (including Melanie and Sincere, who have been spotted out and about since Love Island USA ended last month).

As for when the Love Island USA Season 8 reunion drops, that would be August 31. So yes, we have a while to wait. But considering the producers have literally a two-day turnaround to edit episodes when the season is airing, they deserve a little extra time!
