We still have two weeks to go until the Love Island USA season 8 reunion hits Peacock...but fans are pretty convinced that another Love Island breakup will be revealed when it finally airs (if the news doesn’t come out before then). Rumor has it that Corbin and Parmida have called it quits, and it all began last week, when the two seemingly steered clear of each other at the Love Island reunion taping.
After posing separately on the red carpet, the two attended the OC Fair in Costa Mesa along with several of their season 8 cast members, including KC, Titi, Jaden, and Gabriel—but once again, they were very much keeping their distance from each other (at least, based on the pics and videos that emerged).
I mean...if they were still together, why the heck would Gabe be sitting right in between them??
They also both posted Instagram photo dumps following the fair outing...and neither of them included a single photo of the other.
What’s more: During the August 13 episode of Deux/U, host Deuxmoi shared some (alleged) tea about the upcoming reunion, claiming that Corbin and Parmida announced their breakup during the special.
Oh, and reportedly, Jen and Jaiden’s reported falling out had to do with Caleb...but that’s a whole different story.
Anyhoo! It’s unclear where Corbin and Parmida currently stand, but to be fair, they never said they were officially together. After leaving the Villa as an “exclusive” couple, the two both took to Instagram to reflect on their experience, with Corbin writing, “I don’t know how to tell you this but it was really the universe that brought us together and I am blessed to have left the villa with you as my couple. This is only the beginning to what we have started with each other.”
Meanwhile, Parmida took to her own Instagram to tell fans, “I can’t wait to continue growing, becoming the best version of myself, and showing America the connection I have with Corbin behind closed doors.”
The two continued spending lots of time together (which was documented for social media) in the weeks that followed, but it definitely seems as though things have cooled between them.
Guess we’ll have to wait until the reunion to find out where they really stand (unless, of course, one of them spills the beans before then...).
