Tierra “Titi” Davis joined the rest of the Love Island USA cast for the show's reunion a few days ago and arrived on the red carpet looking glam in a strapless red dress. But apparently some people were less than kind about her look, prompting her to release a statement to her followers.
Titi asked for grace and kindness, and reminded viewers that fame—and red carpets—are brand new for the entire Love Island USA cast. Who all, by the way, looked incredible at the reunion!
“I just want to say that I'm still figuring it all out,” Titi wrote. “This was my first ever carpet event, and I'm still learning my personal style, what makeup looks best for me, and what hairstyles I feel most confident in. It's all trial and error, and I'm okay with that.”
She went on to say, “I just wish there was a little more grace and kindness when it comes to me and my fellow islanders. We literally just came out of the Villa and are stepping into an industry that's very new to a lot of us. We're learning, growing, developing our styles, and figuring things out along the way. You don't have to love every look, and I complete understand that everyone has their own opinions. But there's a difference between having an opinion and being unkind.”
Titi ended her statement thanking everyone who has supported her and shown her love, which is hopefully the majority of fans.
