While we've got a watch-list as long as our arms of existing shows we want to watch, we're always in the market for something fresh and exciting. And thankfully, ITV are always there to deliver the goods. Adultery is the new psychological thriller coming to screens soon, which is already being compared to Doctor Foster.
In case you need a reminder of the hit-BBC show, it followed Suranne Jones as Dr Gemma Foster, who suspects her husband of having an affair. When she begins to investigate the goings on in his private life, she makes some disturbing revelations.

What is Adultery?
The official description reads, "Adultery is a provocative love story of passion, parenthood and peril that raises questions about class, grief and the effects of social media. Naturally authentic and bristling with forbidden desire, it focuses on two families and the love affair that threatens to uproot their whole lives.
"When Tom Kirkman and Beth Brookes first meet they share an immediate, intense connection. The only problem is, Tom’s 15-year old daughter Jess is in a relationship with Beth’s son Ollie, and their young love has become all-consuming.
"As Tom and Beth struggle with their undeniable desires, they must grapple with their guilt and the potential consequences for their families and partners, Hannah and Neil. Will they be able to control their desires unlike their lovestruck teenagers?"

When will Adultery be released?
Although there isn't a specific release date yet, ITV have confirmed the psychological thriller will be released this autumn, and will be available for streaming on ITVX and STV Player.
Is there a trailer for Adultery yet?
There is! Released on the 9th June, the teaser trailer features a voiceover which says, "There's a psychological equation: Attraction plus an obstacle equals excitement. But what happens if the attraction is too strong? What then?"
