What is the The Madness about?

The Madness is a limited Netflix series that came out in 2024. It sees Domingo star as Muncie Daniels, a media pundit who is at the top of his career and about to be given his own show, when he takes a break to head to the mountains to write his first novel.

However, during his time in the mountains, he stumbles upon a murder scene and ends up in twisted game of psychological cat and mouse in an attempt to clear his own name after it becomes clear someone is trying to set him up for murder.

When the series debuted The Guardian gave The Madness four stars, and praised the set-up of the drama: "the propulsive plot threatens to remain the greatest attraction."

Meanwhile Screen Rant highly commended Domingo's performance, saying of the actor: "It is through Domingo's focused, determined, and multi-layered performance that the audience always remains on the edge of their seats."
