While we all wait (im)patiently for the next series of Slow Horses, we're looking for other brilliant spy thrillers to fill the gap in our lives. And thankfully, there's no shortage of gripping shows to watch, already available to binge-watch.
Slow Horses follows a dysfunctional group of rejected MI5 agents (the titular 'slow horses') who must navigate questions of British security and politics. Headed up by grumpy Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman) alongside former MI5-er River Cartwright (Jack Lowden), the show has won loyal fans for its convincing characters, intrigue, and enthralling action scenes.
And while Condor might not have the witty British humour (guilty), it does tick many of the same boxes. So here's everything you need to know about the series, from the cast to the storyline and where you can watch it.
What is Condor about?
Much like Slow Horses, Condor is a conspiracy thriller, but rather than MI5, a socially awkward CIA analyst takes centre stage. The story follows intelligence officer Joe Turner, played by Max Irons, who turns up to work one day to find all of his colleagues have been murdered - and he must figure out exactly who and what is behind it.
The Prime Video description reads, "In the wake of his Uncle Bob’s death, Joe Turner (Max Irons) is forced to return to the CIA’s tight-knit Virginia community to find the Russian traitor who’s responsible, and face the demons of his past."
What is the cast of Condor?
As mentioned, Max Irons from Riot Club and Young Sherlock plays the lead character of Joe Turner. Also in the cast includes:

- Leem Lubany as Gabrielle Joubert, an assassin
- Brendan Fraser as Nathan Fowler, a senior intelligence officer
