Love Island All Stars is over (although the drama certainly isn't), but thankfully we've got Love Is Blind to fill the dating show-hole left in its wake. Series eight has been full of drama so far, from love squares to un-aired romances, and we've still got several episodes to go before things wrap up.
As we patiently (or, in our case, not so patiently) wait for the couples to walk down the aisle, we've been wondering how many of the pod pairs are still together. After all, reports suggest filming for the eighth season wrapped in early 2024, meaning there must be some evidence online that indicates if any of the romances are still, well, romancing.
So, which Love Is Blind season eight couples are still together? Here, we're taking a look at Joey and Monica's post-pod relationship – and we've already spilled the tea on the state of Ben and Sara's relationship, as well as Daniel and Taylor's. You can thank us later.
What has happened for Love Is Blind's Joey and Monica so far?
Things have been pretty smooth sailing for Love Is Blind's Joey and Monica so far. The pair hit it off from the get-go, bonding over their quirky personalities (including a passion for The Sound of Music) and desire for true romance, as well as the importance of family. Self-confessed 'Golden Retriever' Joey and Monica both shared deep, emotional stories about their families, which brought them closer together with each visit to the pods.
All of the above prompted the pair to get engaged in episode two, and their IRL meeting was just as romantic as we all hoped. Monica giggles as she remarks that her new fiancé looks like Tarzan, while he declares that she's the best first kiss he's ever had. Honestly, it's the stuff of Disney fairytales.
Despite the signs of a 'happy ever after' for the pair, when they headed back home a few cracks started to show, with Joey and Monica's sister Nicolle crossing wires. Later talking to her sister privately, Nicolle tells Monica that she doesn't think Joey is her type, and that his personality doesn't seem like a good match. Nicolle also brands Joey an "actor" who simply tells people what they want to hear.
When Monica recaps this intel back to Joey, he says it's fine if her sister doesn't like him – to which Monica disagrees. Joey tells Monica that he doesn't think Nicolle's disapproval of him is "make it or break it", but we got the sense she wasn't on the same page with that.
Are Love Is Blind's Joey and Monica still together?
Although we still have to wait a week or so to find out if Joey and Monica from Love Is Blind season eight are still together, we at least know they make it to the alter. A teaser for next week's episodes shows a clear shot of the couple facing each other at the alter on their wedding day, but in another clip Monica can be heard saying "get me out of here".
Regardless, there are some signs indicating the pair might have made it beyond the altar. They both follow each other on Instagram and they've shared numerous loved-up snaps from the series to their feeds. What's more, Joey has liked some of Monica's posts on the platform, ranging from April 2024 to December 2024. In return, Monica is seen to have liked two of his posts from May 2024 and April 2024.
Of course, plenty of people still follow their exes on social media, so this is just speculation. Whether they remain paired up or simply pals, we'll have to wait until the Love Is Blind final for some real answers about whether Joey and Monica are still together today.
