"The perfect thriller": I Will Find You is Harlan Coben's captivating new mystery series for your watch list

Thankfully, the author is prolific, so the wait for a new series is never too long. I Will Find You is the next drama dropping on Netflix, so here's exactly what you need to know about release date, cast, plot lines and more.

This is a Harlan Coben thriller, so would you expect anything less than an innocent man serving a life sentence for murdering his own child, only to discover that his son might actually be alive? He then breaks out of prison in an attempt to uncover the truth.

The Netflix description reads, "The eight-episode series, adapted from Coben’s 2023 novel of the same name, follows David Burroughs, who’s wrongfully serving a life sentence for murdering his son. But when he receives word that his son may actually be alive, David embarks on a truth-finding mission that leads him out of prison and into a world of deceit and despair."

Surprisingly, not Richard Armitage, who seems to pop up in every Harlan Coben series! Instead, the cast is made up of:

• Sam Worthington from Avatar and Netflix's Lift as David Burroughs, the man in prison for a crime he didn't commit
• Britt Lower from Severance as Rachel Mills, David’s ex-sister-in-law who discovers the evidence that his son might still be alive
• Milo Ventimiglia from This Is Us and Gilmore Girls as Hayden, Rachel’s ex-boyfriend, who remains her close friend and confidant
• Logan Browning from Dear White People as Sarah Greer, a member of the FBI who is tasked with finding David when he escapes
• Erin Richards from The Crown as Cheryl Dreason, David’s ex-wife
• Jonathan Tucker from Westworld and The Virgin Suicides as a police sergeant - but also David's best friend

I Will Find You lands on Netflix on the 18th June, so not long to wait! It will be a six-part series which will drop in full, so you can binge-watch to your heart's desire.
