If you know us, you'll know we love a Sheridan Smith drama. From I Fought The Law to The Teacher, the actor is renowned for holding attention and capturing the screen - and no more than her iconic 2014 performance as Cilla Black.

The mini series, which is currently available on Netflix, was described as "one of her best performance in years" but fans, who has led to an impressive 7.8 rating overall on imdb. What is Cilla about?

"This biopic traces Cilla Black's rocky path from Liverpool clubs to the top of the charts and explores the relationships that would shape her career," the description reads.

Based on the true life story of the iconic Cilla Black, who began her career as a singer in 1963, and went on to have number one singles in 1964 with 'Anyone Who Had a Heart' andn 'You're My World'. The miniseries also follows her relationships with Bobby Willis and Brian Epstein.

You might also recognise her as the presenter on Blind Dates, which she went on to host from 1985 for 18 years, until she passed away in 2015, aged 73.
