If you’re anything like us, you were absolutely hooked on Netflix’s latest dating show, The Ultimatum: Queer Love and are a little sad now it’s over.
The spin-off series to The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On follows five queer couples, made up of women and non-binary people, where one partner has issued the other an ultimatum of getting engaged or breaking up. So, they date other people to find out if they’re ready to commit. Yes, really!
While we’re still reeling from the drama of the reunion, we’re also wondering if there will be a second season of the show. So, here is everything we know about The Ultimatum: Queer Love season two.
What is The Ultimatum: Queer Love about?
Following the success of Netflix’s The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, the queer spin-off aired on 24th May and follows five couples – Lexi and Rae, Mal and Yoly, Vanessa and Xander, Sam and Aussie and Tiff and Mildred – as one has given the other an ultimatum of getting engaged or splitting up.
The series follows each unsure couple as they date other people to figure out what they really want and potentially choose another partner altogether. It’s full of romance, drama and is enough to satisfy any reality TV craving!
Will there be a season 2 of The Ultimatum: Queer Love?
We’re not sure yet. Netflix often remains very tight-lipped about follow-up seasons until a show becomes more popular, but considering that everyone and their mum is talking about this series, we have our fingers crossed.
Interestingly. the streaming service didn't ever renew the straight version of the show, instead announcing Queer Love as its sequel, ahead of the premiere of the first ever show.
