Forget Love Is Blind or Inventing Anna, because Vikings: Valhalla just shot straight into Netflix's most-watched shows on the streaming site.

The series is a sequel to Vikings, and sees a "new generation of legendary heroes arise to forge their own destiny and make history", according to the official description.

While many fans are loving the show and have already binge-watched every episode, others have questioned the differences between the Vahalla reboot and the original show, which ran from 2013 - 2020. Now, the cast have explained all.

Actor Bradley Freegard, who plays King Canute, revealed, "What's interesting about Vikings: Valhalla is that it's set 100 years after the original show. And so the world is a very different place and we're talking about more of a Christian world.

"It's a world that's a lot more familiar to 21st century audience than it being solely based in a Pagan world where maybe a lot of the myths and legends aren't that well known to us. So there are probably more similarities in this world. It's a world that's developing them into a more traditional Christian world that we would be more familiar with."
