Sweet Magnolias season two came to Netflix earlier this month, and (as expected) fans have been obsessed with the second instalment of the show. While there have been some surprising moments (we're talking *that* Isaac dad plot twist), viewers are just as in love with their favourite characters as ever.
And when it comes to two characters in particular, fans have all been saying the same thing.
Cast your mind back to season one and you'll remember we saw some bubbling chemistry between characters Tyler Townsend and Annie Sullivan - finally resulting in a drunken kiss between the pair. However, there was sadly nothing more. Series one's finale prom night episode saw Ty taking CeCe Matney to prom, while Annie went with Simon Spry.
Still, fans had held out hope for more of a romance between Ty and Annie in season two and (spoiler alert!) it's safe to say they're pretty disappointed.
Season two has seen Annie instead dating Jackson Lewis, which seemed to make Ty jealous despite him still being with CeCe. Taking to Twitter, fans have been pretty vocal about the fact that they'd hoped to see developments on the chemistry between Ty and Annie is season two - and they're already calling for more in a potential season three.
One viewer tweeted, "#Tyannie stans literally got zero content this season." Meanwhile, another celebrated the fact that we saw some scenes with Ty and Annie together in S2, despite a fairly slow start.
They wrote, "Annie and Ty talking after their fight in Season 1 and them FINALLY talking for more than just 2 seconds after Annie was acting weird and distance towards him for most of Season 2 [sic]."
Others are already calling for a Sweet Magnolias season three, featuring more of Ty and Annie together, of course. "#SweetMagnolias better be renewed for season 3 bc the people want their #Tyannie arc," one fan tweeted.
"If Ty and Annie don’t have more scenes in season 3 and potentially get together I’m be mad! [sic]", added another.
Here's hoping there's a season three!
Sweet Magnolias is now available to stream on Netflix.
