I know that we are living in a material world, but in what alternate universe did Madonna get a shaggy wolf haircut? Well, to answer my very own question, this one, apparently...
Surprising us all with an unexpected selfie shared on her Instagram Story, Madonna debuted a new shorter, choppy hairstyle for summer 2023. Now, while the pic only lasted in the social media sphere for a mere 24 hours, we've got your backs with the below screenshot. You're so welcome.
Donning a no-makeup look alongside her natural hair texture, aka those bouncy cascading tendrils, the singer has transformed her signature style with a very on-trend shag cut.
As shown, said cut is typically defined by its shorter rooted layers with longer strands around the sides and towards the neckline. It's a mix between the shag haircut and a mullet, if you will.
To compare this recent 'do with her previous, watch the below TikTok video from a week ago where the star was seen to be rocking longer lengths:
Cut aside, we also must acknowledge the pearlescent colour of her hair. While Madonna's trademark tone is blonde, the icon has been sporting red hair for almost a year now with this recent look vamped up for the new season. The mid-end lengths of her curly locks hold a rose gold tint with her roots being on the more natural, brunette side.
Everyone's clicking on...
*Chef's kiss.*
Is there any look Mother cannot pull off? Spoiler: the answer is no.
