Victoria Beckham dubbing her husband, David Beckham, a "little red angry man" was not on my Wednesday morning bingo card, but here we are... And I think it's safe to say that as a collective, we're sat and ready for the tea.

In a recently released half-hour-long sit-down video by The Sunday Times Style, Victoria sat down with Beauty Editor Sarah Jossel to discuss everything from the supplements she swears by to her anti-ageing approach, not to mention the "little red angry man" comment...

Confused, much? Well, allow me to explain.

Referring to herself as a happy person, Victoria tells the story of how her daughter, Harper, said she draws similarities to the character 'Joy' from Inside Out – and better yet, why David is "a little red angry man". "I am very joyful and start the day as you mean to go on," she says. "Most people are a little bit tired in the Beckham family in the morning, so I am Joy. And then, David said, "Why are you saying that, Harper?" And Harper said, "Well, because, Daddy, you're you're the little red angry man from..." David's not a morning person. So, then he tried to steal my Joy. I'm like, "Don't steal my Joy. I'm Joy. I'm I'm Joy, David!"

Now, I, unfortunately, do not have the honour of knowing David, nor his morning tendencies, but if the suit and tie are anything to go by, "little red man" ain't too much of a stretch...

Jokes aside, the pair move on to reminisce about the Spice Girls' heyday and how Victoria was very much known as a hair chameleon, if you will. In the noughties, she experimented with everything from the pixie to the bob (also dubbed the 'Posh bob' or 'Pob') and even the crop. And then there was the "big baseball cap phase," Sarah says. And with such a hair legacy, it leads Sarah to ask about a potential Victoria Beckham Beauty haircare line.

Everyone's clicking on...

"I can't do my own hair," Victoria responds, quickly shutting down the possibility. "I love a hair mist. It's hard to find a hair mist that lasts. I could see that happening. That's about as far as I go," she adds.

Disappointing, but totally respectable.

And then there was her equally iconic makeup. "I've worn too many heavy lip liners in those Spice Girls days. I've worn too many glittery eyeshadows and had pigments the size of fists falling down my eyes, so I've learned so much from those days, and really been able to apply that to what I'm doing now."

Truly, VB's beauty evolution is one for the history books!

The pair move onto the topic of ageing and the scrutiny of self-appearance. Victoria's approach? Not to take any notice of it. "I just want to be the best version of myself. I want to be healthy, I want to be fit, and that's about it. I don't get too caught up in it," she says.

Hitting harder, Victoria admits that she's spent her whole life not feeling good enough. "The great thing about getting older is you really care less about what other people think. can own the narrative now. I've spent most of my life feeling that I am not good enough and not liking how I look. And I think the great thing about getting older is that I now accept the way that I look."

And that doesn't halt as you age. "I also don't think that you have to give up just because you're 50. That doesn't mean that you have to compromise. You can still look good," Victoria adds.

In terms of the phrase 'anti-ageing', Victoria dubs it "a good marketing line". "I don't believe that anything topical can stop the ageing process, right? Unless I'm missing something. I think it's quite negative. I don't do anything differently now with regard to my workout. In fact, I do more now than I was doing when I was 20 and 30.

"So, just because you get older, it doesn't mean that you're limited to what you can do, you know. You can achieve great things as you get older," she adds.

Finally, when asked about supplements and collagen powders, Victoria confirms that both she and David are big fans. "[I swear by] Amino acids every day and other vitamins. We do get our blood work taken regularly, so we know what vitamins we need to take."

Vitamins and supplements are often overlooked when it comes to the health of hair, nails and skin, so, if you take away anything from this chat, let it be your reminder to investigate! And perhaps book in for a blood test appointment. Thanks, VB!
