If you're anything like me (or the whole internet as of late, it seems), you are most certainly obsessed with Wednesday Addams and her IRL counterpart, Jenna Ortega. Read: 'I'm gonna dance, dance, dance. With my hands, hands, hands. Above my head, head, head. Like Jesus said'. Soz...

Now, while you may recognise the star from the comedy horror on Netflix – where she rocked the classic Wednesday black braided pigtails – we can almost guarantee that a double take will be needed once you see the following.

As of a just couple of days ago, Jenna said goodbye to those long plaits and, instead, traded her chest-length locks for a chin-length shaggy wolf cut. Don't believe me? Just take a look for yourself at her Instagram post below. Though, a forewarning is needed, as this is a major transformation:

Uhhhhh, WOW.

For the new look, Jenna's hairstylist, David Stanwell took on the responsibility of trimming her tresses just above shoulder length. Not only that, he also gave her fringe a subtle refresh.

For the body of the cut, David has also given Jenna some volumising layers. This body (ody, ody) is what makes the style a 'shaggy wolf haircut', as the professionals call it.

Everyone's clicking on...

Not only did we have to pick up our jaws from the floor (mouths attractively gaping open 'n' all) but it seems that Jenna's co-star, Emma Myers (aka Enid Sinclair) did, as well. She commented: "I think maybe I um…. when you um… I think…uh *gulp* …. hi". Same, girl, same.

As the good ol' saying goes: New year, new hair-spo! Happy trimming!
