If I asked you to describe Jennifer Lopez’s signature hair look, there might be a few words that spring to mind: sky-high volume, glossy shine and maybe big, bouncy curls. Even when the singer opts for an updo, her hair is still neat, sleek and polished for a glam finish.

But in one of her more recent looks, J-Lo went a little more casual with her hairstyle and it might be one of our favourites to date.

Posing for the New York Times, Jenny rocked a piecey updo. ‘Piecey’ hair involves separating sections or strands of hair to create a messy, tousled finish – and when done right, channels effortless off-duty glam.

To do this, celebrity hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons gave J-Lo a low bun that was sleek along the crown of the head but had pieces of hair sticking out of the bun for a more casual look.

To finish, he pulled out strands of hair along the front of her face and around her ears in little 'pieces'. Messy yet still chic – and the perfect hairstyle to try for an everyday look. Majorly feeling this look.

Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to recreate a hairstyle more and if I could nail it, I’d be set for all future office days, dinner dates and brunches because it’s such a vibe.

Everyone's clicking on...

Even Khloe Kardashian was feelin' it, commenting on Andrew's post: "I mean………. Damn". Exactly, Khloe.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a J-Lo photoshoot without some kind of fire outfit, either. In some of the pics, she’s rocking an incredible dress that involves a long skirt and bra being held together by strings. Wowzer.

It really is just Jennifer Lopez’s world, ey?
