If you look through my Instagram ‘Saved’ folder, you’ll find countless pictures of intricate nail art, numerous shots of graphic eyeliner and an endless stream of hair inspo. But with the hair pics in particular, you’ll quickly notice a theme: so many of the ones I’ve saved feature Jennifer Lopez.
The singer always slays when it comes to her hairstyles and alongside her gorgeous caramel balayage locks, a big part of that is down to her mega talented glam squad. Just look at her latest look.
J-Lo’s go-to hairstylist Chris Appleton posted a picture of the actor with quite possibly the biggest and bounciest blow-dry I’ve ever seen.
The hairstyle involves volume in the roots, from which, J-Lo’s curtain bangs fall sleek and smooth. Then, the rest of her hair sits in super large curls.
On the post, Chris wrote in the caption: “Always a good morning with Jen.
“This is definitely my favorite jlo hair, what’s yours? 🌪”

While I would call this look ‘my dream hair’, celebrity makeup artist Raoúl Alejandre, who has worked on the faces of Zendaya and Angelina Jolie, had the perfect name for it.
On Chris’ post, Raoúl commented: “Ok yes for this sculpted hair”.
‘Sculpted hair’ fits this look perfectly. Alongside those dreamily defined curls, every part of the way J-Lo’s hair falls just frames her face effortlessly.
