In truly devastating pop culture news, we are sad to inform you Jade Thirlwall and Jordan Stephens have reportedly broken up.
The pair, who have been dating since 2020 and lived together in London and Margate, are said to have ended their relationship earlier this year.
A source told The Sun yesterday the pair remain close but had "frank discussions" about their future together and decided to end their relationship.
The source added: "It’s not been an easy time but they’ve both been throwing themselves into work.
“Their friends adore them as a couple and are really hoping they get back together but it’s still very raw at the moment.”
While it feels like a truly split that has truly come out of nowhere, fans have spotted a number of clues that suggested the breakup was hinted at multiple times and we completely missed it. Here's everything we missed.
The 6 signs you missed Jordan and Jade had split
They were last spotted together on the red carpet in February
The couple's last public appearance took place around five months ago when they appeared together on the red carpet for the 2026 BRIT awards in February, where Jade was nominated for British Artist of The Year.
They haven't posted each other on Instagram since March
The last time Jordan appeared on Jade's Instagram was back in March during a roundup gallery of what she had been up to recently.
Jordan deleted all his TikToks with Jade
Similarly over on Jordan's TikTok, The Sun reported Jordan had deleted all his videos which included Jade in from his account.
Jordan just went on a solo retreat
Yesterday (21 July) just before the news of the couple's breakup was announced Jordan posted a gallery of images of himself away on what appeared to be a solo countryside trip, which he captioned "why I’ve not been replying sorry."
Jade has been busy writing
During an interview with The Fader in June earlier this summer, Jade spoke about her current writing process, telling the publication about the emotions she was going through: "I’m just writing stuff. Whatever I’m going through at the minute, like privately, I’m sort of putting pen to paper.
"I think this is the exciting phase or the experimental phase, where you don’t know what it’s going to be yet. For me, that’s sometimes the most magical part as an artist when you’re writing music.”
They didn't post for their anniversary
In previous years the couple have taken to social media to celebrate their anniversary which is in mid-May. Back in 2021 Jade shared a sweet selfie of the pair, captioned: "One year since I slid in the DMs". She's also shared pictures of subsequent anniversaries during he couple's six year relationship.
However, this year fans noticed the pair did not share any dedication to each other or their relationship on social media when May came around this year.
Here's hoping the pair are both doing OK following their split.
