After two years away, one of our favourite cosy crime dramas Ludwig returns to our screens tonight for its second season.
This time around John 'Ludwig' Taylor is returning to the Cambridge police force, but as an official crime scene inspector, working alongside DI Russell to solve a number of mysterious murders.
Many of the main cast members have returned for the new season including David Mitchell as the eponymous Ludwig and Anna Maxwell-Martin as Lucy. However, there's also a bunch of new faces to meet too.

David Mitchell as John "Ludwig" Taylor
Who is John 'Ludwig' Taylor? John is a professional puzzle setter by trade, but during season one after his brother and detective James disappeared, John stepped in to replace him and work out the mystery of what happened to him. Now going into the second season he's been hired as an official crime scene consultant.
What else has David Mitchell been in? David is of course best known for starring in Peep Show and That Mitchell and Webb Look. He's also one of the team captains on Would I Lie To You?
Anna Maxwell-Martin as Lucy Betts-Taylor
Who is Lucy Betts-Taylor? Lucy is James' wife and she recruits John to help her discover what really happened to her husband.
What else has Anna Maxwell-Martin been in? Anna is best known for starring in series including Motherland, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, Until I Kill You, Good Omens, A Spy Among Friends and the Heartstopper Forever movie.
Dorothy Atkinson as DCS Carol Shaw
Who is DCS Carol Shaw? Carol is the head of the Cambridge police force and aware John has been pretending to be James, and wants to keep it a secret.
What else has Dorothy Atkinson been in? Across her career Dorothy has starred in projects including Call the Midwife, Agatha Christie's Seven Dials, Mum, Strike, Saltburn, and Pennyworth, amongst many others.
Dipo Ola as DI Russell Carter
Who is DI Russell Carter? Russell is a detective at the police force who was originally James' partner. After John joined the force he discovered his secret and the pair now work happily together.
What else has Dipo Ola been in? Dipo is best known for starring in series Inside No.9, Landscapers, COBRA, and We Hunt Together.
Ralph Ineson as Chief Constable Ziegler
Who is Chief Constable Ziegler? As his name suggests he's the Chief Constable of the Cambridge police.
What else has Ralph Ineson been in? Ralph is best known for starring in series such as The Office, Trigger Point, Waterloo Road, The Jetty, Peaky Blinders and Game of Thrones. He's also starred in the last three Harry Potter movies, Guardians of the Galaxy and The Fantastic Four: First Steps amongst many others.
Dylan Hughes as Henry Betts-Taylor
Who is Henry Betts-Taylor? Henry is James and Lucy's son.
What else has Dylan Hughes been in? Dylan has previously appeared in Mallory Towers, Maternal and Death by Lighting.

Mark Bonnar as Gareth Fisher
Who is Gareth Fisher? Gareth is the editor of the local newspaper who starts working with Lucy and is a fan of Ludwig's puzzles.
What else has Mark Bonnar been? You'll most likely recognise Mark for his recent project aka starring in the first season of The Celebrity Traitors. Acting wise he's best known for starring in Line of Duty, Unforgotten, Operation Mincemeat, Dept Q and many more.
Sian Clifford as Joanne Kemper
Who is Joanne Kemper? Joanne is the MP for Cambridge and ends up becoming heavily involved in John and Lucy's case.
What else has Sian Clifford been in? You'll best recognise Sian for her role in Fleabag as Claire. She's also starred in The Miniature Wife, Unstable, Vanity Fair, Quiz and Inside N0.9 amongst many others.
Ben Ashenden as DC Ethan Cole
Who is DC Ethan Cole? Ethan is a new detective working at the Cambridge police force.
What else has Ben Ashenden been in? Ben has previously appeared in episodes of Hijack, Stath Lets Flats, Black Mirror, Ghosts, 1899, Plebs and he'll also be starring in the upcoming movie Wicker.
Rumi Sutton as DC Caitlin Sullivan
Who is DC Caitlin Sullivan? Caitlin is another new detective now working at the Cambridge police force.
What else has Rumi Sutton been in? Rumi has previously been in Daddy Issues and After The Flood.
