The World Cup is in full swing, with England taking on Norway in the semi-finals this evening - but who exactly is captain Harry Kane married to?
As well as Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland’s friendship taking centre stage, fans are mainly hoping the squad will bag another win tonight, including the players' wives and girlfriends.
While they know the nation is behind them every step of the way, we're sure no support means more to them than that of their loved ones. But who are they all dating, and how long have they been together? All burning questions that we've been asking when each match comes on.
Particularly when it comes to England captain Harry Kane, as his relationship with his wife Kate is of a very sweet origin. Here's everything you need to know about England's all-time top goal-scorer's wife, who has been there with him every step of the way.
How old is Kate Kane?
Kate Kane (née Goodland) is 33 years old, only six months Harry's senior, and was born on 21st January 1993, making her a Capricorn.
What is Kate Kane's job?
Having graduated with a degree in sports science, Kate went on to become a fitness instructor at a gym in Walthamstow.
She's also racked up a sizeable following on Instagram (@katekanex), amassing over 310k followers, and looks after the pair’s four children: daughters Ivy and Vivienne, and sons Louis and Henry. So cute.
Speaking to the Evening Standard about the relationship back in 2017, Harry said, “She always wanted to do her own thing. She went to university and worked hard. I have a great family, they keep me grounded and they've worked just as hard as me to get me where I am."
How did Harry and Kate meet?
Harry and Kate are childhood sweethearts! They met at Chingford Foundation School in east London. Whilst we aren't sure exactly when the pair's relationship turned romantic, we can be sure they've been smitten from the start, with Kate even posting a throwback photo from them attending prom together.
Harry has also previously spoken on the benefits of being with someone before fame. Talking to the Evening Standard, he said, "If I was single now and meeting people, you'd never know if they were with you for the right reasons. Is it the money? You'd never really know."
When did Harry and Kate get married?
After getting engaged in 2017 in the Bahamas, the pair went on to tie the knot a couple of years later in 2019. The couple are fairly private anyway, so it's no suprise the location of the wedding was kept under lock and key, but we can see from Harry's Instagram post marking the occasion that it was an incredibly romantic, seaside affair.
In her own post to celebrate their nuptials, Kate wrote in the caption, "A month ago today I married my soul mate, one of the best days of my life! Thank you for making my dreams come true, you are perfect."
How many children do Harry and Kate have?
Harry and Kate have four children: Ivy (9), Vivienne (7), Louis (5), and Henry (2). Ivy is the oldest, born in 2016, with her sister Vivienne being born two years later in 2018. The pair then welcomed Louis in 2020 and most recently Henry in 2023.
The couple don't post their children too much, and usually cover their faces online to respect their privacy, but it's clear the family are super close, with Harry often treasuring sweet family moments on Instagram.
Has Kate been out at the World Cup supporting Harry?
She certainly has! After England beat Mexico in the famous Azteca Stadium on Monday, she took to Instagram to share a photo of the pair in the stands, as well as footage from the game. “Azteca ✅” she wrote in the caption.
Harry commented, “❤️😍” while other comments read, “such a beautiful couple 😍” and “Kate, you are such an amazing wonderful Lady and you make Harry so happy 💕🫂❤️🌞. THANK YOU 😍😍😍”
Previously, she also shared photos in a custom Boss England corset, and ahead of their games with the caption “Game ready, let’s go England 🏴”
