Within minutes into the season 8 premiere of Love Island USA, Aniya and Kenzie were already bonding over their zodiac signs. Throughout the season, as contestants coupled up and hot new bombshells entered the Villa and turned heads, we’ve had our eye on everyone’s zodiac signs (shoutout to Instagram account @astrologyisland for tracking all the info). There were so many Aries this season—kudos to the casting team.

Now, the season has ended, with Libra and Cancer couple Trinity and Bryce—aka Brinity—taking the win and the $100K prize. But before the reunion films and airs on August 31, let’s see what the stars have to say about the final four couples and their compatibility. Who really found love in the Villa, and who will probably break up before the reunion special airs?

Trinity and Bryce

Libra + Cancer

It’s no surprise that two of the most romantic signs of the zodiac won the whole damn thing. From the premiere episode, when Trinity proclaimed “I love love” and Bryce talked about how sensitive he is, it was clear how this was going to go. Trinity is a Libra, the sign of relationships that’s also ruled by Venus, the planet of love. More than any other sign, Libras thrive when they have a partner by their side to hype them up and bounce ideas off of. Bryce is a sensitive, romantic Cancer, connected to the Moon, which rules emotions. Most Cancers crave a secure partnership where they can cuddle all day. But one danger here is that both signs can be serial monogamists: They love being in a relationship but might jump from one partner to another.

However, Brinity’s Moon signs show that they have substantial cosmic compatibility: Trinity is a Gemini Moon, while Bryce is a Sagittarius Moon. These signs are opposites, and in astrology, that’s a good thing. Both Moon signs have a playful, curious energy and a similar sense of humor that will help them turn any challenge—televised or not—into an adventure. But their Moon signs both have a tendency toward impulsivity and a need for variety. While it’s too soon to say if this match will last forever, Brinity certainly has the stars on their side.

Aniya and Carl

Virgo + Cancer

The fairy-tale prince and princess are cosmically different but in ways that complement each other. As a Virgo, Aniya is logical and grounded, while Carl is an emotional and intuitive Cancer. Both signs are some of the most caring and nurturing in the whole zodiac, meaning these two should find it easy to be there for each other. Put this all together, and you have a match that encourages each other to see the world from a different POV while having each other’s backs. That’s exactly why earth and water signs are so compatible. There are, of course, a few risks here: Virgos’ constructive criticism can hurt sensitive Cancers’ feelings, and independent Virgos can sometimes find Cancers to be a little too clingy.

And then there are their Moon signs. Aniya is a Leo Moon and Carl is a Libra Moon, a compatible fire-air pair. Their Moon signs indicate that both are outgoing, creative, and flirtatious, processing their feelings through conversation and artistic pursuits. Aniya’s Leo Moon also indicates a need to be the center of attention sometimes, which Carl’s romantic Libra Moon is very happy to provide.

Melanie and Sincere

Scorpio + Aries

To understand this couple, you need to look at their signs’ shared ruling planet: Mars. Mars is the planet of libido, drive, and aggression…which means that when you put two Mars-ruled signs together, you get a lot of passion but also a lot of drama (checks out). Scorpios and Aries tend to deal with conflict very differently: Scorpios often let resentment build up over time as they quietly plot a revenge scheme, while Aries tends to speak and act impulsively without thinking through the consequences (sound familiar?). Scorpio is a cool water sign, while Aries is a hotheaded fire sign, and fire and water just don’t mix. Ultimately, an Aries-Scorpio couple has plenty of chemistry for a hot, steamy fling, but their significant differences in conflict and communication styles will likely make a long-term relationship a struggle.

Kayda and Zach

Aquarius + Scorpio

Like Melanie and Sincere, Kayda and Zach’s cosmic compatibility is characterized by both passion and conflict. Their signs make a tense square with each other, a connection often described as harsh. They’re different in ways that can lead to sexual tension or arguments or, more likely, both. Aquariuses tend to be more aloof and logical, while Scorpios are more passionate and follow their guts. One thing Aquariuses and Scorpios have in common: They’re both fixed signs, which means they’re inherently stubborn and always want to be right. This is a connection that can be passionate in the short term but is often rocky in the long term (as hinted at by this post-Villa social media drama).
