- Zach Georgiou returned single after Casa Amor, misleading his match, Kayda Bosse, about the real reason why Alannah didn’t come back to the Villa with him during the recoupling.
- Kayda discovered at movie night that Alannah had actually left after night two, realizing Zach had withheld crucial information about her early departure.
- Producers historically gave vague explanations when past islanders were removed for policy violations, suggesting Kayda may not learn Alannah’s true reason for leaving until later in the season.
It’s safe to say a lot went down during Love Island USA’s infamous movie night episode on June 30—and there’s still more to come. As the girls saw what went down with their matches at Casa Amor, one of the major revelations revolved around Kayda Bosse’s connection with Zach Georgiou, who returned to the Villa single…and not necessarily by choice.
Initially, Kayda was under the impression that Zach truly chose her. But what she didn’t know was that his fun at Casa was cut short when his match, Alannah Keyser, was booted from the show after old videos of her using racial slurs resurfaced. When Zach and Kayda reunited, he omitted that exact detail and reassured her that “if I wanted to, I would have brought her back.”
But as it turns out, Kayda eventually found out Alannah wasn’t even around for the Casa recoupling when watching footage at movie night. When one of the OG Islanders asked, “Wait, where’s angel girl?” Jaiden chimed in, “She left after night two.”
As other truths were revealed throughout the night, Kayda seemingly dissociated as she pieced the details together.
So, Kayda knows that Alannah left early, but it seems that she doesn’t know the real reason behind her departure…yet.
As a reminder: When Cierra Ortega left last season after her own racial slur scandal, the remaining contestants were given vague explanations from the show’s producers.
As Zak Srakaew later revealed during a livestream, “I can’t really say but when Cierra left…the producers gathered us all together and then they said, ‘Unfortunately Cierra’s broken some of the policies of our guidelines, she’ll no longer be here in the Villa, and that’s all the information we can give you guys.’”
One of last season’s finalists, Nic Vansteenberghe (who was paired with Cierra before her departure), doubled down on Zak’s story during a July 2025 appearance on the Chicks in the Office podcast. At the time, he admitted producers “never told the details of anything,” saying, “It was some sort of personal reason or something along those lines.”
Based on what went down during movie night, there’s a chance that the Villa guys and Casa girls were notified about Alannah’s departure with minimal details, and it seems like the other Islanders found out in real time.
Guess we’ll have to wait and see if Kayda and co. discover the real reason behind her sudden exit during part two, which airs tomorrow night on Peacock!
