Aniya Harvey has had a tumultuous few days in the Love Island USA villa. She unfortunately chose to leave her new connection, Carl Schmidt, single and vulnerable in hopes of returning to her day-one connection, KC Chandler. But he had other plans when he returned from Casa Amor with a new partner, Tierra “I’m Titi!” Davis.
Though she was left distraught—and even cried as she claimed she “should have kept Carl”—Aniya luckily has a second chance at romance thanks to America’s vote, which brought Carl and Amora Robinson back to the villa.
But before he officially returned to Fiji, Aniya’s sister Asia Harvey seemingly weighed in on the Carl and KC of it all with some subtle social media activity.
In the comments section of a TikTok she posted on Thursday, June 25—the same day Carl was booted—fans reassured Asia that he had their vote so Aniya could explore their connection. And she was fully out here liking comments in solidarity!
“SO WERE RIDING FOR CARL THIS VOTE,” one fan wrote, while another added, “Don’t worry I voted Carl back.” Asia responded to the latter, simply writing, “Yessss.”
When another commenter asked, “Heyy how we feeling about Aniya w Carl,” Asia replied with a gif of her sister sticking her tongue out and doing a “clock it” motion with her fingers.
This isn’t the first time one of Aniya’s sisters has vocalized their support for the newly minted reality TV personality. After KC’s controversial comments about Aniya being a “grandma” for not hooking up with him when they shared a bed, her little sister, Angel, posted a TikTok in her defense on June 16.
At the time, she wrote, “The narrative some people are trying to create about her is honestly disappointing. Whether you think she gives ‘grandma vibes,’ is ‘boring,’ or simply isn’t your favorite personality, those are personal opinions, and there’s no need to turn them into hurtful comments. Not every thought needs to be shared online.”
Angel later added, “At the end of the day, these are real people with real feelings and real lives behind the screens. A little kindness and respect can go a long way. If a conversation or post has nothing to do with my sister, please don’t bring her into it unnecessarily.”
Good to know Aniya’s sisters have her back in the thick of all this drama and are rooting for her to explore a new connection with Carl. Now, time for me to run and re-watch last night’s episodes before we see more cuteness between these two!
