Just days after it was revealed that Nicolandria is no more, rumors began circulating about another Love Island USA season 7 couple being on the outs. It seems that Clarke Carraway and Taylor Williams may be over after just about a year together, and while neither has confirmed the breakup, Taylor did take to Snapchat to address the rumors.
On July 29—not long after gossip Instagram account @TooHotTeaa2 broke the Taylor and Clarke split news in a since-deleted post—Taylor responded to several fan messages showing support...but strangely enough, he didn’t exactly deny the breakup rumors.
In response to one fan, who asked how he stays “unfazed by rumors the internet throws at you every 2 secs,” Taylor said, “I got better things to do with my time rather than respond to shi that ain’t real.”
In response to another fan, who told Taylor they were “sorry for all the weird people u have to deal with to this day after a whole year,” the former Islander doubled down on his assertion, saying, “I don’t address nothing if it’s real or fake bc I don’t owe that to nobody. Y’all can speculate all y’all want.”
And to a final commenter, who called Taylor out for his Instagram Story seemingly shading Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen (which led to Nic unfollowing Taylor), Taylor just laughed it off, writing, “Prime example.”
Clarke, meanwhile, has yet to weigh in on the rumors, though—according to one fan’s account—she allegedly muted anyone who mentioned Taylor during a recent livestream.
Fans first began to suspect that something was amiss earlier this month, when a fan-posted video of Taylor hanging out with a woman who definitely was not Clarke began making the rounds on the internet.
Soon after, Clarke was posting content from what looked like a girls’ trip with fellow season 7 Islanders Chelley Bissainthe and Cierra Ortega.
Then came the viral post from @TooHotTeaa2, which claimed that Taylor and Clarke “ended things due to long distance and their differences.”
