Happy Devil Wears Prada 2 day to all those who celebrate. And in the wise words of Miranda Priestly, we're all a bit over florals for spring. Thankfully, M&S has you covered, with a cushion sporting spring's most elegant pattern - gingham.

Spring is well and truly here - and dare I say it, but it even feels like summer is on the way. The perfect way to celebrate? To freshen up your interiors.

But rather than overdoing it and trying to replace ever sofa, armchair or bed headboard -moving at a glacial pace to actually make a decision and probably doing your back in during the process if you do take the plunge - a cushion or throw can be a simple, yet effective, way to go.

The biggest trends of spring 2026 aren't just going to be hits for the next few months either, but are timelessly beautiful. Enter Gingham. And how could we forget, our trusty sage green.

And M&S has only gone and nailed both trends in one - so gird your loins.

M&S' Chenille Woven Gingham Cushion comes in a "plush chenille texture" - which, for those of us - me - who aren't sure what that really is, means the cushion has a thicker and more luxurious texture to it.

Shaped as a square, measuring 45cm by 45cm, the cushion sports a ruffled trim edge in the same pattern - the perfect-sized addition to any sofa or bed.

It comes in, you guessed it, sage green or "charcoal" too - meaning you can match it to your reversible bedding set from Asda or new Sainsbury's sage green vase.

Praised for its "folksy finishing touch" and "timeless pattern" the cushion comes in at a steal of a price as well, costing just £19.50.

With a 100 percent polyester cover which is machine washable at 40 degrees, can be tumble dried on a low temperature alongside ironed at a low temperature too - the cushion is as easy to take care of as it is on the eye.

And don't just take our word for it either.

One user said: "Beautiful cushion wish there were more colours. Love this cushion. I have both this one and the rectangular shape in the green. I hope you bring out all the colours the rectangular shape currently has. Would love it in the neutral."

"Great cushion brightens up the lounge and love the size. Would definitely recommend," another added.
