When it comes to our homes, we're always looking to elevate every room where possible and make it the most inviting space possible. However, we don't exactly have the budgets to go OTT and purchase designer furniture, or do an entire home renovation. But thankfully the high street and supermarket stores have seriously upped their interiors game in the last few years and have become our go to places to shop for interior pieces that feel elevated without breaking the bank.
Habitat at Sainsbury's is one of our favourites as they do everything from furniture, to lighting, to garden pieces and decorative items that will work in every style of space.
So if you're looking to elevate your home this summer, these are some of our favourite pieces from Sainsbury's right now. See you at the checkout aisle!
Frayed edge cushion
Cushions are a super easy way to instantly elevate your living room or bedroom. Stick to neutral shades that are big on texture if you want to create that chic elevated hotel room look, like this frayed edge cushion. It combines gentle hues with a soft cotton fabric to create the ultimate luxury look for less.
Round checkered tray
Checkered print has been big for the last few months and this tray is a great way to dip into the trend in an elevated way. The mix of cream and dark wood is a more sophisticated take on the look and will last you for years thanks to the neutral shades.
Glass shade table lamp
This lamp is at the top of my wish-list. It looks so much more expensive than it is and the combination of the glass dome and the rich marble base is giving rich quiet luxury vibes.
Blanket stitch throw
A throw is another easy to elevate a space. Drape one across your bed, a sofa, or even a dining room chair to add another texture to the space. This reversible throw gives two looks in one, and the blanket stitch on the edge finishes it off nicely and takes it to another level.
Seed pod glass vase
If you want to incorporate more colour into your home but still do so in an elevated way, this seed pod glass vase is a great way to bring colour in. It's made with soda lime glass and so the glass isn't smooth like a traditional vase, but instead filled with texture and therefore give any space you place it in more depth.
Round side table
I actually squealed when I saw this side table. It's the perfect addition to a hallway, or the side of a sofa to add just a bit of extra interest and texture. It'll fit a glass, vase or ornament, so it's practical too.
Mango wood mirror
We'll about embracing the curves in our homes as they give instant softness to a room and this mirror is a great way to bring them into your space. The mango wood has a rich warm grain that will give any room you put it in depth and it would look ideal in the hallway, in the lounge or even as a dressing table mirror.
