Summer is ever so slowly approaching and we're counting down the days until we can host long sunny lunches, and delicious dinners filled with BBQ foods, refreshing salads, and fruit puddings (no matter what the UK weather throws our way).
And when it comes to decorating our table for all the summer parties we have planned, an easy way to set the sunny scene is with a tablecloth. Zara Home has just the tablecloth to instantly lift your tablescape, giving you design kudos with just the flourish of a tablecloth.
The tablecloth is in a striped lemon yellow shade, which is set to be the colour of the summer as everyone looks to get that Amalfi coast feel and bring the sunshine into their homes.
The lemon yellow stripe is contrasted with a subtle ecru shade in the other stripe, which pairs well together to create a calming and warming effect.
See the tablecloth here:
We love how the tablecloth is finished with a subtle warm gold trim around the edge to complete the look.
Everyone's clicking on...
The tablecloth is available in two sizes, a 150cm x 150cm size which is priced at £29.99 and a slightly bigger one which measures up at 150cm x 250cm, which is £39.99.
It's made from 94 per cent cotton and six per cent linen, and so needs to be washed at maximum 30 degrees after any dinner party messes.
The lemon yellow and ecru mixed stripes will work well with most dining sets, particularly any white or creams dishes or plates you have knocking around your cupboards. It would also work well with any pastel serving platters you already have too.
And if you're not a fan of lemon yellow, the stripe tablecloth is also available in spring's trending shade of sage green, ideal for any bank holiday feasts you may be planning in the upcoming weeks. Or a subtle grey stripe which will work all year round, perfect for making everyday dining just that little bit more special.
