It's easy to get yourself in a pickle when debating how to spruce up your home for the spring and summer months, but adding a pop of colour such as pink and yellow can help get you in a sunnier mindset.
We've all fallen into the trap when looking to update our home... Falling down an endless Google hole, somehow finding yourself debating whether or not to buy completely new furniture - your partner returning home from work to find you've moved the entire sofa and cupboard too, but gave up halfway so now the room is a tip.
But it doesn't need to be that complicated to give your house a refresh this spring - a helping hand coming in the form of the season's trending colours pink and yellow.
The two bright shades may seem intense, but when nailed in the right shades they make for a refreshing update to your interior. And one of the easiest ways to incorporate the colour duo is with a throw from George at Asda, which has not only nailed the combo once, but twice, the throw coming in reversible form.
See the throw here:
On one side of the throw appears six pink flowers with daisy yellow middles, set against a more muted, terracotta tone of pink, with daisy yellow tassel trim to match. The other side of the throw features slightly warmer and sunnier flowers with pink middles, set against a paler shade of pink alongside the same daisy yellow tassel trim.
The flowers and design of the throw are strikingly similar to Andy Warhol's Flowers piece from 1964, but certainly without the matching price tag.
And don't be scared of a bit of floral in the home, after all, if you're trying to keep an eye on the pennies, the throw will make up for not being able to treat yourself to fresh flowers every single week.
Floral patterns are also a go-to this spring, M&S's tiered floral midi dress the prettiest take on the trend we've seen so far.
And Asda's flower tassel trim woven throw comes in at a similar steal of a price at just £12.
Measuring 120 x 150cm it's the perfect way to spring-ify your space, throwing it over a coverless duvet in the bedroom, your sofa or even taking it for a spin outside if the sun keeps treating us - we think the yellow and pink combo would look great with Sainsbury's sage green three-piece set.
So, if you've been fancying trying out adding a pop of colour and florals to your home, have always eyed up a Warhol piece but can't quite bring yourself to shell out on the real deal, then get yourself down to Asda for a throw before they run out.
You never know, you may end up getting so taken by spring's latest colour trend you nab this cushion too.
