Ginny & Georgia ended on a major cliffhanger with the revelation that Georgia is in fact pregnant, with fans now having to wait months (or potentially years) to find out who the father of her baby is - Joe or Paul. However, baby aside, the series also ended on a rather confusing note as to where Georgia and Joe's relationship stands.
The last time we see them together Georgia confesses to all her crimes, and Joe accepts her for who she is and they kiss. However, Georgia then says they can't be together just yet as she promised her kids she would take a break from dating. So where does this leave Joe and Georgia?
Well, all we know for sure, is that just like the majority of the internet thinks, these two should end up together. Not convinced? Still think Paul could turn his attitude around? Or do you want to see Georgia back with Zion? Well we're here to tell you why you're wrong with 11 reasons why Georgia and Joe should end up together.
All the reasons why Joe and Georgia should be endgame
1.He's literally been there for her from the beginning
This first point should be reason enough for you to believe that these two should be together because they quite possibly have the cutest meet-cute in the history of TV.
The pair first meet 15 years before the events of the series take place. Georgia has already left home when she meets Joe who is on a school trip in Fort Jackson. He treats her with kindness and invites her to eat lunch with him. They talk and she tells him about her dream to own a horse called 'Milkshake' one day.
When he gets up to leave he gives her his Ray-Ban sunglasses and 15 years later she still has him.
2. Joe named his horse for her
Yep, in series one it's revealed he literally named his horse after her suggestion.
3. He's always supportive of Ginny
Early on in season one, despite his best judgement he gives Ginny a job at Blue Farm Cafe, and as the three series develops he becomes someone she can lean on that isn't one of her parents. He's there for during season three when she has a panic attack after her mum's put in jail and goes on trial.
4. Georgia brings out the best in Joe
Though an already pretty charismatic guy, there is just something about what happens when he's around Georgia that makes him stand a little taller. Throughout all three seasons she encourages him to step out of his comfort zone, like when she asks him to come to the casino night, and he then does turn up in his suit, despite initially saying it wasn't his crowd.
5. Joe is an all round good egg in the community
While we don't love Joe's affair with Cynthia, what we do love is how he always has everyone's backs and encourages kindness within the community. During season two he tells Georgia not to be so hard on Cynthia given all she's going through.
6. He's not afraid to tell Georgia the truth
Which brings us onto this point. While he is always in Georgia's corner, he's also not afraid to tell her what she needs to hear, like when she tried to run away this season. He can call her out and she'll (somewhat) listen, as it's clear she does respect his opinion above most others.
7. Georgia doesn't feel judged by Joe
There's no denying Georgia has had it tough in life, and while a lot of people criticise or judge Georgia for her actions, she feels safe and unjudged by Joe.
Back in season two after Christmas dinner goes wrong, she's able to find comfort with Joe, whom she tells she never feels judged by.
8. He doesn't abandon her when the rest of the world hates her
Not to be dramatic but there is a special place in hell reserved for Zion and Paul this season after they abandon Georgia after her alleged crimes are revealed. But Joe doesn't. Instead he acts as any good friend should and comes round to support her. They play video games and he reminds Georgia of her worth.
9. When Joe stood up for Georgia when Paul and Zion wouldn't
Now of course we don't condone violence, however, there was something particularly satisfying about watching Joe punch Gil, after discovering Gil had abused Georgia. It painted him in a particularly good light especially when neither Zion nor Paul did anything to intervene with Gil having his son back.
10. Even the cast have made no secret about their love for this couple
Brianne Howey who plays Georgia in the Netflix series, literally described Joe as "the man of Georgia's dreams" during an interview with Netflix.

11. He accepts her after everything she's told him
We love our girl Georgia Miller but there's no denying the woman has a rather chequered history and in episode 10 of season three, Georgia actually confesses to killing Tom Fuller to Joe as well as her other crimes. And yet rather than running a mile, Joe decides to kiss Georgia and says he "gets it".
Sorry but a man who is willing to love and support her after all the murderous things she has done? Joe and Georgia are endgame for sure.
