Netflix's new dating show, The Ultimatum, has finally come to an end, and the drama just keeps on coming.
Following the initial eight episodes, Netflix dropped the series finale and Reunion episode simultaneously on 13th April. Since then, we've been getting updated on which original couples are still together, which new ones have formed, and who's gone their separate ways - and there's a lot to take in.
Plus, fans have been particularly shocked by one moment in the finale episode, and they can't stop talking about it. *Spoilers ahead*.
To recap, the season finale and subsequent Reunion episode saw big changes for couple Madlyn Ballatori and Colby Kissinger. The duo entered the experiment after a year and a half of dating, with Colby, 25, giving Madlyn, 24, the ultimatum.
Madlyn wasn't sure about marriage at first, even telling Colby, "The only thing scarier than losing you right now would be to marry you," sparking quite the reaction from fans.
However, the finale episode saw everything shift. Colby proposed to Madlyn, who said yes, with the couple then actually getting married on the spot - despite Madlyn previously being unsure. What's more, the pair revealed in the Reunion episode (filmed in February, six months after the experiment), that they're expecting a baby girl, with Madlyn seven months pregnant.
Reacting to the show online, fans have been sharing their surprise at Colby and Madlyn tying the knot so suddenly, especially after Madlyn had doubts.
One viewer wrote, "Madlyn and Colby getting married was not what I expected to happen." Meanwhile, others were confused about how quickly everything changed, with one writing, "Wtf happened??? Did I miss an episode?? Something ain't adding up.. [sic]."
A third added, "In utter disbelief over Colby and Madlyn getting engaged AND getting married all in one day?? They literally needed to walk away. What the f***?"
