Madonna has spent over five decades in the industry, yet she still manages to surprise us. Deleting all of her Instagram posts followed by a bob debut? We didn't see that one coming.
After throwing her very own Oscars after party earlier this week, the 66-year-old icon took to IG to share not only her thoughts on the night, but her fresh collarbone-skimming cut, too.
"Throwing an Oscar party every year with my manager is challenging, stressful and time-consuming. But we always pull it off in the end. I got to spend time with people that I love and admire !! Highlight for me was sitting next to JACQUES AUDIARD the director of Emilia Perez, my favourite film this year!!! (Holding his Oscar) And watching Lil Wayne perform!!!ππ₯βοΈπ£π―π΅π²πβ₯οΈ," she wrote to caption her 11-part carousel post.
As shown, the singer has ditched her once long curve cut and instead, is sporting shorter lengths that have been styled β by hair legend, Andrew Fitzsimons β in Old Hollywood curls. Aka, it's the very definition of β¨glamourβ¨.
Not to mention that it's a length reminiscent of Madonna's 2001 'do! Flashback to the singer's 'Madonna Drowned World Tour,' circa 23 years ago.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Beauty trends are cyclical β they come and then they go... and then they come again. But the bob? Yeah, well, that's a longevity style if I ever did see one!
