With 2025 fast approaching, you may be contemplating New Year's resolutions. Veganuary, perhaps? To save money, even? Or just: 'Travel more'. All are noble affirmations but my approach is a lil different. Instead, I'm taking a leaf outta Madonna's book and am firming hair health and maintenance in 2025. The key? Regular haircuts, of course – and the singer's fresh new look is a masterclass in the subject.

In a recent Instagram post, Madonna's hairstylist, Andrew Fitzsimons – whose clientele also includes the likes of Khloé Kardashian, Megan Fox and Jennifer Lopez – shared a three-part carousel post to debut the star's new 'do.

"Fresh cut on beautiful @madonna," Andrew wrote to caption his post.

As shown, Andrew has kept the length of Madonna's locks intact but instead, cut in a number of layers throughout. In doing so, dimension has been added as well as a soft frame around her face.

Style-wise, said layers curve inward making for the infamous 'curve cut' (also known as the 'C cut'), which was first imagined in 2023. This is a hybrid style that brings the best of many looks together. Think: the layers of a more refined, tamed wolf cut but with the feathery aspect of the iconic 'Rachel'. Aka, lots of 90s flippy ends!

So, if you're seeking a re-upped haircut for 2025, why not follow in Madonna's footsteps with this very look?! After all, she is a certified trendsetter.
