Cindy Lou Who, step aside because there's a new Whoville star in our midst. Introducing: Lady Gaga Who! And no, before I tempt you into excitement, she hasn't signed a contract to star in a 2024 Dr. Seuss remake (to my dismay) but instead, looks as though she should with a hairstyle that appears to be straight outta the fictional town.

Overnight, the 'Born This Way' singer shared a five-part carousel post on Instagram to honour her appearance in the festive Apple TV+ spin-off episode, A Carpool Karaoke Christmas. The show sees a handful of our favourite musical stars, including Dua Lipa, Chappell Roan and of course, Gaga sing carpool karaoke alongside the host, Apple Music DJ Zane Lowe.

Now, while this post has us excited to tune in to hear Gaga's voice, what initially had us renewing our Apple TV subscription was the sneak peek of her hairstyle. As shown in the fourth slide below, she rocks a copper-toned curly bouffant, topped with an eyelash-skimming fringe.

It's giving Whoville-meets-classic 80s perm.

That said, as Gaga has previously proven with her otherworldy hair transformations, this look would have been achieved via a wig. After all, she did appear in the same episode rocking a Morticia Addams-like black straight style (per the first and second slides in the above carousel post).

Nevertheless, we're all for low-commitment hair experimentations, particularly when they're provided by thee Queen herself, Lady Gaga. More, more, more, we request!
