This is a public service announcement: Miley Cyrus is now a redhead! I repeat: Miley Cyrus has switched up her hair look (once again) and is now a redhead! Big Monday news, folks.
Taking to her Instagram feed (where all good things are announced), the singer debuted a brand new hair colour earlier today [3 June, 2024]. As shown in the below post, Miley has dyed her previously brunette locks a cowboy copper orange that features lighter strands of blonde. We're calling this hybrid look the 'tiger stripe' effect... and you best believe social media will follow suit, forging this into a brand new and upcoming beauty trend.
Mad about it? I think not.
The new 'do arrives in conjunction with Miley's latest editorial shoot, donning the cover of W Magazine. "When Beyoncé reached out to @mileycyrus about collaborating on #CowboyCarter, Cyrus already had the perfect track in mind. “I wrote that song, like, two and a half years ago,” Cyrus says of their hit duet “II Most Wanted,”" the caption says.
"“It really encompasses our relationship. I told her, ‘We don’t have to get country; we are country. We’ve been country.” I said, ‘You know, between you being from Texas and me being from Tennessee, so much of us is going to be in this song.” Link in bio for the full story."
As excited as we are to hear all about Miley's recent music ventures, there's no denying that it's her new hair colour – and fringe haircut (!!) – that's the star of the show. Simply stunning.
Everyone's clicking on...
It's safe to say that my girl crush is crushin' RN.
