Arguably, TikTok reached its peak in 2020 with viral memes, interesting trends and hilarious challenges taking over our FYPs. But our favourite of them all? Why, the nostalgic recreation of Hannah Montana videos, of course! What a throwback.
And now, just short of three years later, Miley Cyrus herself is giving what needs to be given, recreating one of many said videos, singing a classic tune from her hit Disney TV show.
In the singer's most recent Instagram video promoting her upcoming single 'Used To Be', Miley reacts to one of the most popular clips from the show. "So, this is from the final episode of Hannah Montana," she says. But most iconic of all, post-shading "the drama", Miley recreates the scene.
"This is how I say goodbye to everyone now," she says before singing the memorable transition song.
As shown, she's still got it! Ahhh the mems.
However, if you're none the wiser to the above and unfortunately, missed the punchline (though, we doubt that you did), fear not for the below viral TikToks should explain all. Watch how creators on the app dubbed the sound a meme:
As Mils says in her parting words: "Hannah's for kids. Miley's for grown ass men in heels"... Though, admittedly, we still do love a HM binge every once in a while... but who can blame us?!
Per the caption of Miley's above post, 'ENDLESS SUMMER VACATION: CONTINUED (BACKYARD SESSIONS)' is live to watch on 24 August via ABC, while 'Used To Be Young' can be streamed from 25 August, 2023.
