Mother has arrived. And by 'mother', I obvs mean Rihanna – because who else could make global headlines on a Thursday mid-April morning for stepping out a caszh evening event looking so chic? Spoiler, the answer is no one. That is, no one but RiRi.
Overnight, the superstar took to the Fenty x Puma 'Creeper Phatty Earth Tone' launch party in London and while it was a celebration of all things shoes and fashion, it was actually Rihanna's brand new waterfall fringe that had us gushing with summer hairspo ideas.
The singer's makeup artist, Priscilla Ono took to Instagram to share a number of snaps from the red carpet. Scroll through the below to see said new haircut in all its glory:
Achieving its waterfall name, this 2024 summer hair refresh is defined by a choppy, eye-grazing fringe that has been cut across the forehead, with gradient lengths layered outwards to frame the face. With this look, Ri's longtime hairstylist, Yusef Williams has not only added a shaggy texture and lots of dimension to the hair, but a feathered, blown-out finish, too. Simply, chef's kiss.
Plus, there's no doubt that the matte red lip is adding to the power of this entire beauty look. While Priscilla is yet to share the exact product used, she did reveal that it was, ofc, the result of Fenty Beauty. Our fave shade to recreate this candy apple-coloured look is the Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Colour in 'Uncensored'.
It's the perfect universal red.
So, now that we've got the makeup look sorted, it's time to book a salon appointment for a new szn hair refresh! Ri, we're coming for you and your waterfall fringe...
