Not to be controversial, much, but blonde Rihanna is my fave. Yes, the Ariel-inspired red hair circa 2011 was, undoubtedly, a vibe and her 2008 short back and sides pixie was, ofc, iconic, but nothing beats a hairstyle that coordinates an outfit... there, I said it. And today's look is the ~epitome~ of coordination. Period.
Over the weekend [7 April, 2024], Riri stepped out in Los Angeles, California wearing baggy ripped jeans and an oversized cloak-like jacket. But what completed the 'fit was her freshly coloured icy blonde hair that was an almost exact match to said jacket. I repeat, coordination at its finest.
While it is yet to be confirmed, we suspect this is the work of the singer's longtime and go-to hairstylist, Yusef Williams. After all, he was the genius behind her most recent warm-toned blonde bob.
The roots of her tresses are an almost white-blonde colour, while the ends of her hair are more of a sandy hue, giving the best of both worlds. Though colour aside, we're equally as in love with the style of this look. Natch.
As shown with the pap snaps above and below, her locks have been styled up and in a pinned curly 'do, making for a tight root with effortless, voluminous tendrils cascading down the back of her head.
It's giving a modern, more tamed twist on the classic Pamela Anderson updo that we all know and very much love. However, if you're unfamiliar (which, we're sure you're not but a reference pic never hurt nobody), see the below photo of Pam taken in 1999.

Iconic. That is, both Pam and Riri!
