Something we didn't expect to arrive upon today's bingo card was Kim Kardashian with icy blue hair. In fact, I don't think we ever expected to see Kim rock this look – not today, not tomorrow, not in three million years...
Alas, the day has come and her new 'do arrives on our social media feeds via promotional campaign pictures for the upcoming series release of FX's American Horror Story: Delicate Part One. Which, if you hadn't already guessed, explains the out-of-the-box transformative hair colour choice.
In the new TV show [to be released 20 September 2023 on Hulu], the mum-of-four appropriately plays the character of 'Mother' alongside world-renowned actor Emma Roberts and model Cara Delevingne.
Kim's hairstylist for the occasion, Andrew Fitzsimons shared the look on Instagram; "Such an amazing summer shooting @ahsfx with @kimkardashian 🖤 I’ve never seen someone work harder in my life.. So f*****g proud of her.. Also really proud of our AHS promos, I collabed with another amazing talent @joematke on it, can’t wait for you guys to see fears to come❤️🔥," he wrote in the caption of his post.
As shown in the above snap, for this role, Kim dons a butt-length baby blue hairstyle and it's one that we can only assume is a wig. After all, it was only just the other day that she debuted a cropped black mushroom bob, not to mention that this shoot would have been filmed months (if not years) ago.
Though, having said that, wig or not, there's no denying that Kim looks completely unrecognisable. Or rather, wickedly scary, if you will!

And not only does the reality star's pin-straight tresses make her seem otherworldly but the spidery long eyelashes, naked 'brows and glossy red lip makeup look do, too.
Certainly a look for the hairspo books.
