If my tween self knew about the recent collab of the century, she would simply ✨pass out✨, just as my current self has... But fangirling aside, if you have no idea about said collaboration, firstly, 'speak now' and secondly, allow me to explain while you perish in embarrassment...

Just a few days ago – 7 July, 2023, to be precise – Taylor Swift released her own version of the iconic 2010 album, 'Speak Now'. And while we've been playing the OG TV songs on repeat, we've also been very much enjoying the six new tracks 'from the vault'.

However, one of the songs in particular, 'Castles Crumbling', features a very exciting guest artist. Enter: Paramore's very own Hayley Williams. And for this monumental partnership, Hayley dyed her hair purple.

To debut the transformation, the singer shared a video of the colouring process on her very own brand's Instagram page, Good Dye Young. Watch her co-founder and hairstylist, Brian O'Connor work up his magic below:

"💜PURPLE, bc it’s a big day. 🙌🏽 GDY Co-Founder @yelyahwilliams , is featured on Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) — out now!" the caption reads.

But that's not all...

If you want to recreate Hayley's violet highlights yourself at home, then today is your lucky day. Adding the details behind her look, Brian shared the exact products used and in which order applied.

"Pink Dyeposit Color Depositing Mask mixed with Sky High Semi Perm to create the lighter pink from root to mid-shaft. Pink Dyeposit Color Depositing Mask mixed with a pea size amount of Blue Ruin for the darker pink-to-purple on the ends. NEW Poser Paste formulation in the roots — New name, new formula coming soon! Stay tuned for more details."
