Thanks to the ever-changing beauty scope (read: trends), the hairstyles of 2023 have continuously chopped and changed (pun most certainly intended) with a range of lengths, shapes, sizes and colours. In other words, there's no telling what'll be next on the bingo card! But today, giving us a style that we've yet to see dominate (I blame the bob), is Camila Cabello with an in-between 'teenage bangs' haircut... bear with me here, folks.
Now, it doesn't take a fool to be confused over said hairstyle name. I mean, the 'curve cut', 'mixie', 'bixie', 'box bob' and 'tiramisu highlights' – to name a few – haven't made the trends any easier to navigate. But fear not; allow me to explain all.
Contrary to its name, the 'teenage' style of fringe can be worn at any age. Instead, we've coined it as such for the in-between length. Not quite a micro-baby bang but not grown into a full fringe, the teenage bang sits between the two.
And to perfectly demonstrate what the look entails is Camila Cabello with a recent Instagram selfie.
Donning the eyebrow-grazing cut, Camila is rocking her piece-y fringe alongside considerable dark lengths, not to mention the effortless waves and choppy layers.
