In an exciting announcement shared via her very own beauty brand's Instagram page, Rare Beauty (though, more on that later), Selena Gomez debuts a brand new haircut that's reminiscent of her 2008 self. Minus the wizardry complex... IYKYK.

Thanks to celebrities including Anne Hathaway, Dua Lipa and most recently, Selena, the gradient fringe seems to be making a comeback. Defined by longer pieces of hair that gradually reduce in length the further inward they get – but still maintain their shaggy finish – the style is also often referred to as a waterfall fringe.

See SG's video reel below for a masterclass in the look:

At first glance, the singer's new cut appears to be a full bang, if you will, however, upon further inspection (it's the beauty journo in me, OK?) longer layers frame the outer edges of her face. Not to mention the super cute 90s flick lob length. Selena said go big or go home!

Oh, and for old-time's sake; is it not also giving peak Alex Russo vibes, aka her iconic Disney channel character?!

All things hair aside, as earlier mentioned, in the post shared, Selena reveals that Rare Beauty is launching in India. "We couldn’t be more happy to finally launch in-stores and online only @sephora_india! Mark your calendar for June 15 and get ready to shop what’s been on your wishlist."

Everyone's clicking on...

So, if you're looking to jazz up your beauty routine this summer, why not see to the brand's roster of must-have makeup products, as well as book in with your local salon for a new season chop. As you now know, it's how to make like Sel!
