While we're so here for Jennifer Lopez's #ThisIsMeNow evolution (CC. *that* curve cut hairstyle), a throwback is always appreciated. And not only that, but the nostalgic moment she just recently shared also includes a very noughties hairstyle. Enter: Early 00s J-Lo. AKA, Miss Jenny From The Block.
Taking to Instagram just a few days ago, Jen shared a video reel post from 2002 and more specifically, for the 20-year celebration of her 'I'm Glad' music video. "I’M GLAD!!!! #20YearsOfImGlad Can’t wait to perform it again soon 😜#ThisIsMeThen #ThisIsMeNow #ImGlad #JLovers", she writes as the caption of her post.
Now, as much as we love the choon (fun fact: it's actually about Ben Affleck from when they dated way back when), what caught our eyes, for its Y2K reminiscence, is J-Lo's round curly bob. It couldn't be further from her current long locks and that's what we love about her; she can pull off just about any hairstyle!
The short cut was very of the time and even features a piece-y fringe, too. Oh, and did I mention that she's also rocking the natural texture of her locks? So dreamy.
Although 20 years have passed since this look first debuted, Jen is proving that not much has changed, seeing as in recent years she's also proved to be partial to an au naturale lewk. Her stunning mop of mid-length tousled curls make for the perfect poster child to trying TikTok's curly hair method.
Is there anything she cannot do? No, the answer is no.
