If there’s one thing I can always rely on the Kardashian/Jenner fam for, it’s a dramatic hair transformation. Over the years, they’ve tried quite possibly every hairstyle, hair length and hair colour under the sun between them but recently, each one of the reality stars is experimenting with their looks.
Of course, we’ve got Kourtney Kardashian’s iconic bob, which she rocked in a slicked-back, wet-look hairstyle for her first ever Oscars red carpet. Then, we’ve got Kim Kardashian rocking some of the longest hair extensions we’ve ever seen. And even Kendall Jenner, who is known for sticking to her signature mid-length brunette locks, has gone and dyed her hair red and installed super long extensions for all The Little Mermaid vibes.
Now, Khloe Kardashian is the latest member of the reality TV family to give us a dramatic transformation and trust us guys, it’s a good’un. Koko surprised us all when she posted a video on her Instagram Story while on her way to the Vanity Fair Oscars after party, with what looked like a super short blunt bob and curtain bangs. But the reveal was definitely a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment.
Thankfully, Khloe took to her main grid to share a proper look at the hairstyle. Alongside some incredible makeup by Ash K Holm, she tagged celebrity hairstylist César DeLeön Ramîrez as the pro behind this dramatic look.
Of course, we were completely obsessed with this new look and went straight to César’s page for all the deets – where he shared a couple of pretty big secrets behind the look.
Posting a series of pics on Instagram, he revealed in the caption that his inspo for the look came from Parisian-style bobs and Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface – basically, the definition of chic.

But the big one? He added: “Khloe loves when I give her a short bob because I can do it either using extensions or wigs and cut them short into a bob so she doesn’t have to commit to cutting her hair short.”
So basically, it sounds like her new bob haircut isn’t actually real and we’ll likely see Koko rocking her natural mid-length hair again soon but seriously, how incredible and real does this bob look?? Here’s the up-close:
