Listen, I imagine it’s a little overwhelming to have 20 fiancées at the same time. But if Let’s Marry Harry proves anything (other than the fact that Harry Jowsey is made for reality TV), it’s that off-camera hookups will inevitably become on-camera drama. You probably recall that racy scene from episode 5, which saw Harry go into his personal bathroom with (spoiler alert!) one of his two finalists, Amber Mozo. Viewers weren’t given much besides the sound of a shower running and Amber telling Harry, “Get naked. You gotta drive the car before you buy it,” but it wasn’t a huge shock when he later admitted that sex followed.
However! A scene that wasn’t quite as clear is one from episode 2, when Harry brought the woman who would later become his other finalist, Dannelle Davidson, upstairs with him after her birthday celebration. Again, it was a mystery what happened behind closed doors, but the various sex sounds that followed made it seem as though the two also did the deed. As it turns out: Those moans and groans were allegedly added in by production, because the two did nothing more than kiss.
When asked by a fan whether it was “a coincidence that u had sex only with the finalists,” Harry finally cleared things up with a video posted to Instagram. “Early on, when you see Dannelle and I go into the closet on her birthday, we were just strictly making out,” he claimed.
He added, “I don’t know where they pulled that audio from or who that audio was, but it was certainly not us. Again, it’s a TV show, every three days is one episode, so of course they’re gonna put stuff in there, they need a big cliffhanger. We were literally just kissing in the closet in the early episodes.”
Dannelle told a similar story on TikTok, where she admitted that “it looks like we were maybe getting a little hot and heavy in the closet.” But according to her: “We were making out, and I enjoyed it. It was my birthday. Sue me.”
And if you’re wondering how she felt about Harry having sex with Amber? “Honestly, I could care less,” she said. “We were all doing our own thing. It was a sisterhood in there. We all were very understanding of each other…If that were me, he better not tell anybody my business!”
It’s unclear who Harry will choose for his bride during the finale, but fans will find out once the episode drops on August 12!
