‘An Exhilarating Ride’: Hannah Waddingham and Octavia’s Spencer’s High Energy Spy Thriller Is Now Streaming

Ever since Hannah Waddingham graced our screens as Septa Unella in Game of Thrones, we've been obsessed with the actor. From playing Rebecca in Ted Lasso, to Heidi Heatherley in The Woman in Cabin 10, she never misses, and now her latest project Ride or Die has got us glued to the screen.

Starring alongside Octavia Spencer, Waddingham plays an undercover assassin and along with her friend must outrun a dangerous enemy. Here's everything to know about the new show Ride or Die, which is sure to go the top of your watch-list.

Ride or Die is a high energy spy thriller that has big Thelma and Louise vibes. It's about Debbie (Spencer) and Judith (Waddingham) who have been best friends for over two decades. They do everything together and have a really close bond...except Judith has been keeping a secret from Debbie—she's actually an assassin.

However, when their worlds collide at a political party Judith is forced to confess her true job to her best friend and they end up on the run together across Europe, with some very dangerous criminals on their tails.

Since it was released yesterday, the show has been highly reviewed by critics, with Variety saying the best part of the show is the relationship between Judith and Debbie, saying in their review, "Spencer and Waddingham have a robust and genuine chemistry." They also praised Waddingham's action skills, adding: "watching Waddingham as a full-fledged action star is something everyone should be witnessing on a daily basis."

Meanwhile Collider described Ride or Die as an "exhilarating ride" and The Hollywood Reporter said it was a "lively excursion with a surprisingly sweet heart."

Leading Ride or Die is Hannah Waddingham as undercover assassin Judith and Octavia Spencer as Judith's unassuming best friend Debbie.

Waddingham is best known for her roles in series such as Ted Lasso, Sex Education, Game of Thrones, and movies including Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning and The Fall Guy.

Spencer is best recognized for starring in movies including The Help, Hidden Figures, Fruitvale Station, Ma and TV series such as Truth Be Told.
