Reacher has reinvented itself yet again. What kind of dramatic scrape has Jack Reacher gotten himself into this time? Here’s what you need to know about the cast and characters of Reacher season 4, and which character who used to stick by Reacher’s side is actually not returning this time around.

Season 4 is based on the book Gone Tomorrow by Lee Child, the thirteenth in the series published in 2009. In it, Jack Reacher witnesses a woman who appears to be a suicide bomber die by suicide on the New York City subway. Once part of the investigation, he uncovers a vast conspiracy and so many secrets. Just about all of the characters we meet in Season 4 are from the book, if you want to check it out and flip to the last page read for yourself!

For show-only fans, the biggest Reacher news is that Maria Sten is not returning as Frances Neagley after two seasons on the Amazon Prime Video series. Maria and Jack did say goodbye at the end of the last season. Both the actress and the character will instead be seen next starring in the Reacher spin-off, aptly titled Neagley, alongside Greyston Holt, Jasper Jones, and Adeline Rudolph. The Reacher-verse has begun!
