The newest Amazon Prime series from creator Megan Park, Sterling Point, is a young adult mystery drama co-produced by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. They’re the creators of Gossip Girl, so you know they know how to bring the drama and the iconic ensemble cast. Here’s what you need to know about who’s on Sterling Point.
Sterling Point is about a young adult named Annie whose estranged grandfather leaves her a whole island in Canadian cottage country. (Maybe you’ve heard of it...) Feeling directionless for the first time in her life, Annie decides to go to her grandfather’s cottage on her grandfather’s island and start to uncover some of the mysteries.
There, she discovers people who knew her grandfather, her mother, and her secret sister! (Well, half-sister, and Annie’s adopted her so they’re really not blood related at all. But still!) Here are all of the people you’ll meet in and on Sterling Point.
Ella Rubin plays Annie Jacobson
Annie is a city girl who inherits her grandfather’s island in Canada. Yup, a whole island... full of secrets!
Rubin steps into a leading role after recurring on The Girl from Plainville, The Chair, and the Gossip Girl reboot. Film-wise, you may have also seen her in Fear Street: Prom Queen, Anora, and The Idea of You.

Amelie Hoeferle plays Ramona
Annie meets Ramona because she is, also, living in her grandfather’s cottage.
Hoeferle played Vipsania Sickle in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. She was also in Eddington, Night Swim, and One Mile part one and two.

Keen Ruffalo plays Connor
Connor is Annie’s twin brother.
Ruffalo appeared alongside his father, Mark, in Thor: Ragnarok, Task, Hal & Harper, and Begin Again. He is also in the upcoming Green Day-adjacent comedy Nimrods.

Jay Duplass plays Steven
Steven is Annie and Connor’s adoptive father.
Duplass is an indie director and an actor you know from films like Jeff Who Lives At Home, The Chair, Sh!thouse, and Paper Towns.

Bo Bragason plays Oona
Oona is one of the first girls that Annie meets on the island. She’s a boat driver!
You may know Bragason from Renegade Nell, the pirate-y Disney+ series, or or shows like The Jetty and King & Conquerer. But you’re gonna know her soon as Princess Zelda herself in the upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda film.

Daniel Quinn-Toye plays Rory
Rory is one of Annie’s rich friends from middle school who now now vacations on the island.
Quinn-Toye recently played Paris and Tom Holland’s understudy in a West End production of Romeo and Juliet. He’s also part of the ensemble cast of Tom Ford’s next movie, an adaptation of Anne Rice’s Cry to Heaven.

Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie plays Ellis
Ellis (far right) is a Canada native who flies a seaplane.
Also a Canada native, Whiteduck-Lavoie’s previous credits include Troubled Waters, Eaux Turbulentes, and First Line.

Joe is Ellis’s father.

Nikko Angelo Hinayo plays Sully
Sully works at the general store and is one of Ramona and Oona’s friends.
Hinayo is relatively new to acting professionally on screen, but was previously in a Hulu series called Davey & Jonsie’s Locker.

Mabel Strachan plays Maple
Maple is Oona’s younger sister.
Prior to Sterling Point, Strachan played the young version of Mia, the protagonist of the Sky Original series The Ridge.
