Hands up if you also binged all of Off Campus in one go and your whole FYP is still full of interviews with all the hot actors. Well, I’m absolutely guilty. Luckily, the cast already started filming the next season back in June, and nearly all of your faves are returning for season 2, including Belmont Cameli as Garrett Graham, Ella Bright as Hannah Wells, Antonio Cipriano as John Logan, Mika Abdalla as Allie Hayes, Jalen Thomas Brooks as Tucker, and Stephen Kalyn as Dean.
Unfortunately, in season 2 we will be saying goodbye to singer Justin, played by Josh Heuston—but luckily, we also have good news: None other than Dean’s little sister has now been cast. New in season 2 is Shay Rudolph, who takes on the role of Summer Di Laurents. Shay’s arrival was announced via Instagram, and IMO, Shay is exactly how I imagined Summer. No notes.
If you’re wondering, “Huh, who is that?” even though you’ve read the books, that’s understandable. Besides her guest role in The Score (the third book in the Off Campus series), Summer also has her own books in the spinoff series of Off Campus: the Briar U books (a little tip for when, after reading the other five books, you still can’t get enough of this series!).
A little about Shay: She’s a 20-year-old actor from San Diego, California, who you might recognize as Stacey McGill from The Baby-Sitters Club. Oh, and fun fact: She’s been rocking pink hair for a minute, but she said goodbye to that to go blonde for her new role.
