Let’s start with the family tree, because it needs a bit of explaining. Alix and Ashtin are the daughters of Thomas “TJ” Earle and Alisa Earle. After their parents split up, TJ married Ashley Dupré. Together they had three more children: Izabel, Penelope, and Thomas James Earle II.
Alisa, meanwhile, is in a relationship with Todd, who also appears in the Netflix series. Add the family’s friends to the mix, and you have enough personalities for at least a few seasons of reality TV. We’re already excited.
Who is Alix Earle?
Alix Earle was born on December 16, 2000, and grew up in New Jersey. She broke through when, while studying marketing at the University of Miami, she started posting Get Ready With Me videos on TikTok.
Unlike the extremely polished influencers who were appearing all over social media at the time, Alix also showed her acne, messy room, hangovers, failed dates, and chaotic nights out. As if you were video-calling a friend who was getting ready for a party—except this friend had millions of followers in no time.

She now has more than 13 million followers across TikTok and Instagram, has worked with countless major brands, and finished second on Dancing with the Stars.
Who is Ashtin Earle?
Ashtin Earle is Alix’s younger sister and was born on April 7, 2003. Although the sisters are close and regularly create content together, Ashtin has now claimed her own place in the spotlight.
She studied psychology while building her own following on TikTok and Instagram with GRWMs, vlogs, fashion content, and an aesthetic that is much darker and more mysterious than that of her older sister. Think: black cat energy, vintage fashion, and a touch of witchy. We love.
Who are Alix and Ashtin’s parents?
Alix and Ashtin’s parents are entrepreneur Thomas “TJ” Earle and Alisa Earle. The two split up when their daughters were still young.
The breakup received a lot of media attention at the time after it became known that TJ had started a relationship with Ashley Dupré. TJ and Ashley eventually married in 2013 and had three children together.
Alix has previously spoken openly about how painful and confusing that period was for her as a child. “I would hear Mom and Dad fighting...I would sit at the top of the stairs like a lurker, and I was like, ‘What’s going on down there?’” Alix recounted during a 2024 episode of her Hot Mess podcast (per People). “I never wanted Ashtin to know because I didn’t know much, but I knew that it made me feel upset when I heard them yelling at each other. So I would go in Ashtin’s room and be like, ‘Let’s play a game or let’s do something.’”
Alisa is now in a relationship with Todd, who is also part of the Netflix series.
Who is Ashley Earle?
Ashley Earle, born Ashley Dupré, is Alix and Ashtin’s stepmother. Although their relationship was difficult at first, Alix and Ashley are now very close.
Ashley also knows better than anyone what it’s like to suddenly become the subject of worldwide media attention. According to Alix, her stepmother has therefore regularly helped her when online criticism became too much for her.
Meanwhile, Ashley also creates content about her life and family. She and TJ had three children together: Izabel, Penelope, and Thomas.
Who are Izabel, Penelope, and Thomas Earle?
In addition to Ashtin, Alix has three younger half-siblings. Izabel was born in 2012, Penelope in 2014, and Thomas in 2017. The three regularly appear in their older sisters’ TikToks and family vlogs.

In Earle Meets World, according to Netflix, we don’t just get to see the carefully selected footage that Alix normally posts online herself. The cameras follow her as she continues to build her career, travels the world, and tries to deal with everything happening in her private life.
Her blended family is central to the series. In addition to Alix and Ashtin, their father TJ, stepmother Ashley, mother Alisa, Alisa’s boyfriend Todd, and the three youngest children appear in the series. Alix’s childhood friend Sally Carden and other familiar faces from her inner circle also make an appearance.
According to Netflix, the series (which premieres on September 4) shows both the fun and chaotic moments as well as the stress, conflicts, and vulnerable conversations within the family.
